Dear friend,
I have a very serious, important question for you:

Whose son or daughter are you?

God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure to do it. (See Ephesians 1:5.)

There’s something about knowing God as Father that encourages us and gives us courage and strength beyond our own abilities.
Knowing who God is to us brings us confidence in Him.

David was an Old Testament saint who had this kind of confidence. He had just defeated the giant Goliath, who had terrorized God’s people for 40 days. He and the Israelites chased the Philistines to the next city and plundered their camp. To plunder a camp meant to take everything in it — riches, cattle, weapons, prisoners, and much more. David’s courage and actions that day caused the entire army to arise and fight.

What God Did in August

KCM

This month has been a strategic month. I had the opportunity to minister to the youth at Kenneth Copeland’s Southwest Believers Convention. When I received the invitation, I was very surprised! They have some of the best ministers in the world ministering to the youth every year. So when I was invited, it took me off guard at first. But it showed me that God is on our side and that the best in Him is always yet to come.

The anointing was powerful! I preached on faith and on God pushing us forward! I didn't feel an unction to give any kind of altar call, which was surprising to me, but I had peace about it. It seemed like my part was done and it was time to pass it on. It was the will of the Holy Spirit because when Pastor John (the Youth Pastor from Eagle Mountain International Church) got on the platform, he gave the altar call. It was to be his responsibility, not mine. As we both stood there on-stage, words of knowledge began to flow, and other gifts the Spirit began to operate. One altar call was given for those who felt called to missions, and young people responded who felt called all over the world. Then God allowed me to give a prophetic word to a Russian. He didn’t understand English, so I was able to deliver it to him in Russian. I might have been there just to give that word to one specific person! Everything in God is so well planned.

New Music and Teaching

I am working on new music, which I will be able to share with you soon. The track is called, “With Me.”

I am also spreading the teaching podcast on “Worship With No Limits.” Available for download and listening on iTunes, Google Play, TuneIn, SoundCloud under Philip Renner Ministries. We are receiving messages of how this is blessing worship leaders.

Lastly…

Recently my daughter Mia (8 years old) and I were praying before she went to bed, and I asked her to pray for Dad, Mom, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She paused for a
moment and said, “Dad, we have to pray for our partners. It’s very important!”

I agree! I want you to be assured that I and my family and team pray for you!  You are such a blessing, and I am privileged that you would sow both your prayers and your finances into this ministry. As I pray for you, I know that God is pushing you forward, too, into your time and season. He is definitely fighting my battles for me, and I know He is fighting your battles as well.

Please pray for our upcoming ministry in Corpus Christi, Texas, Atlanta Georgia, Chicago, Illinois, and Moscow, Russia.

Walk with God!
