London, UK– Philip Renner appeared on national tv in England at TBN UK sharing his story of missions and music. Performing his soon to be release to radio rock worship song “Great Is Your Love (Teach Me). Interview with channel director Leon Schoeman to share on Philip’s work in Russia and USA.

It seems unbelievable that an American could be on the forefront of Russia’s worship and youth revival movement, considering what is in the news and current political climate with Russia. Here is the good news: Today’s evangelical Russian church is thriving and a generation that was reached with the gospel in the 1990s are now leaders of a revival that is sweeping Eastern Europe.
Philip Renner, American missionary, worship leader, speaker, revivalist, award-winning recording artist and songwriter is at the forefront of this revival and leads Renner Worship and Renner Worship Music. With offices in Tulsa, OK, Nashville, TN, and Moscow, Russia, Phillip is part of a thriving missions and music ministry in former U.S.S.R and now U.S.
Renner Worship’s new project “Anthology: Songs for Revival” and anthem “We Cry Out” was birthed out of this worship mission’s calling of revival. Philip is the first national Russian language touring worship artist, teaching youth and churches how to create their own original worship in their church and city with a foundation of fasting and prayer. It is a unique calling for an American to be considered the ‘father of the modern worship movement in Russia and neighboring countries’.
Philip Renner shares his story of missions and music on Racman Christian Radio. Hear the compelling story of Philip and the Renner Family moving to Russia 25 years ago. Philip shares about Renner Worship being on the forefront of a worship movement igniting revival across Russia and former USSR.

What God Did This Summer — June-September
This summer has been amazing. Because of your support through prayer and giving, in the past three months we conducted 45 meetings! We ministered in Austin, Texas; St. Petersburg, Russia; Sochi, Russia; Moscow, Russia; Novosibirsk, Russia; Blagaveshensk, Russia; Almaty, Kazakhstan; Vladivostok, Russia; and Sakhalin, Russia. Also, I am proud to say that the radio single “We Cry Out” is being played on 82 stations! Also, it’s a huge praise report that even though I live in the U.S. now, the ministry is still impacting Russia and Central Asia in an amazing way!
Austin, Texas: This was an important event, and I am believing for more significant open doors like this in the U.S. Leading a talk show with prominent worship leaders like Misty Edwards, Rick Pino, and Chris Burns as we shared our hearts with approximately 100 worship leaders from across the nation was a great honor and a very influential and anointed opportunity.
Novosibirsk — Services in Novosibirsk were very strong, anointed, and prophetic. It is always an honor to minister in new places where I have never ministered. It is even more of a blessing to find out that, even though I’ve never been there in person, Rennerworship songs are still impacting nations and cities for God.
Vladivostok, Sakhalin — These are regions in Russia that I have never been to. The people are so hungry, and the conference that we led worship for with my friend Sergie Shidlovski (leader of a wonderful prayer movement in Russia) was very strong.
When you are leading worship for a closed group of 130 pastors in the region, you understand that when you are speaking to them, you are impacting the region. The conference had about 1,200 in attendance, which is considered a very big event in Vladivostok. The same was true for Sakhalin. The youth conference was powerful, and the night of worship was anointed. I know that both in Vladivostok and Sakhalin, we changed the spiritual atmosphere in those regions.
Almaty, Kazakhstan — The youth conference in Kazakhstan was anointed, but what blessed me most was a meeting with youth leaders from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. As I led worship for them, to my surprise I discovered they knew our songs! They are waiting for us to come and minister in the countries they represent that are closed for the Gospel but on fire for God.
Through the summer, we saw headaches healed, gifts of the Spirit in operation, people saved, many receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and literally thousands of people crying out for more of God from their hearts. Thank you so very much for your prayers, your giving, and your heart for God!
Please pray for us!
Ella and I willingly poured out from our hearts and our resources whatever was necessary to make it possible for me to travel throughout Russia and central Asia throughout the summer to minister to precious souls. As a result, finances are currently at a low.
We know it is our calling to continue the work in the U.S., and we are moving forward by faith. Below is a list of projects the Lord has given me to accomplish, so your supply of prayers and finances is so greatly appreciated. We can’t fulfill this divine mandate alone. But together there is no limit to the powerful impact we will make on this earth to the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom!
- Finish new album “ Forever Praise.”
- Release teaching on worship.
- Wisdom from God regarding what doors to walk through.
- Development of radio outreach.
- Finances for ministry, missions, and worship in the USA, Russia, and Central Asia.
Rest assured that I and my family and our team will continue to pray for you daily! We thank God for your love and support for us as we pursue what God has called us to do!
In His Service,
The Power of Worship
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
— Psalm 9:1-3
Nothing upsets the devil more than when you praise God in a bad situation. It seems like everything is hopeless — but instead of giving up, you thank God for giving you the victory. That takes faith!
I remember I was
about to lead praise and worship when I got the call from my wife Ella:“Our daughter is dying.” It was about 30 seconds before I got on stage. I felt like there was no reason to worship. I wanted to drop everything and run to the hospital. Ella told m
e, “Philip, you will not make it! It’s too far;
there is too much traffic. All you can do is pray.”
Those words encouraged me. I got on stage, and the first two songs I was speaking to myself.“Give the Lord a shout of praise!” I was jumping and shouting — and I looked like a nut because no one else in the hall was jumping and shouting with me! It was very dead in that roo
m — but I didn’t care. I was going to praise the Lord, regardless of who was praising with me! As I was praising, I heard a voice in my head say, You are acting. You’re wearing a mask now! You are a hypocrite and a fake. But I just ignored the voice!
When you put a smile on your face and praise God in tough situations, that’s not hypocrisy —that’s faith. Praising God even when you don’t feel like it is true worship. Praising God only when you feel like it — only when things are looking good — is hypocrisy. It is actually a clear sign that you don’t really trust that what God says is true, regardless of what circumstances looks like.
After about 20 minutes of deliberate, intense praise, I forgot about my daughter. You might say, “That is selfish!” I believe that was actually the opposite of selfish, because I was tapping into God’s way of deliverance for my daughter. The only way out of the situation was for me to look to Jesus and ignore the situation.
I finished leading worship, and I remembered about Mia and Ella. I called them, knowing a miracle had taken place. The doctors were shocked when they saw Mia. They expected a little girl who was near death to come in, but as I’d been worshiping, God did a miracle! Mia started jumping, laughing, and playing, right there in the hospital! It was nothing short of a miracle. That is the power of worship in a horrible situation!
King Jehoshaphat also understood this principle. When five kings were up against him, first he and the whole nation fasted. Then Jehoshaphat thanked God for the victory. And finally, he went out to fight by sending out the praise and worship leaders to the front line of the battlefield. Sounds like a crazy idea — but it worked!
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
— 2 Chronicles 20:21
As a result, instead of having to fight the enemy, God caused the enemy forces to get in strife with each other until they killed each other off! Not a single person remained. Later God rewarded King Jehoshaphat for trusting him in an impossible situation.
And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
— 2 Chronicles 20:17-25
Maybe you are in a situation similar to Jehoshaphat. You may feel like your whole world is crumbling down around you. That means it is time to turn on prais
e and worship music, dance before the Lord, and thank Him for the victory! God is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He did it for King Jehoshaphat and if He did it for me, then He will do it for you!
One of my favorite hymns is “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.” The words are so powerful. “Turn your eyes upon Jesus; look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”
That is so true! When you are in a bad situation, it doesn’t do you any good to concentrate and worry about the problem. Turn your eyes on Jesus. When you realize what an amazing God we serve, you will realize that He is absolutely able to take care of any difficulty you are facing right now. So start praising God for the answer, knowing that He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). He will intervene in your situation! He will show you His salvation.
